The rumors about an iPhone have never been this early ever. The iPhone 6 may be more than 6 months away from us. But the rumor mills have already started grinding every possible thing that the new iPhone may be. The tech sites have no idea what the consumer wants and don't know what Apple puts in their device is what the consumers would like.

With the iPhone rumors on their peak. Consumers are worrying that Apple might just kill the premium feel and premium-ness of the whole Apple "brand" by providing two different screen sizes and that too under the same name. If we look at the tech sites then they are talking about a 4.7" and a 5.5" screen size for the iPhone 6. If that happens then, I guess, there'll be a very few people buying the iPhone 6 because with mobile phones getting bigger, there is no way that people's hands are getting bigger. It'll not be comfortable to hold. It'll have the Samsung style cover on the phone. All the premium feel of the device will be killed. It'll promote Samsung sales as it'll be the same thing anyway. But enough of that. Lets talk about what could Apple actually do with their iPhone 6.
First of, let's talk the screen sizes. With people demanding a bigger screen but not something too big, Apple will most likely put a 4.2" - 4.5" screen on their first device and if there is a second one it'll sport a 5.2" - 5.5" screen. I think it'll have a 4.5" screen because Apple has always loved fixed terms and it has never gone all point on and point two with their iPhones since they started. We have seen Apple go from 3.5" to 4" from their 4S to 5. It was not a very big jump but whatever it was, it brought a lot of changes to how we look at iPhones. This time also, Apple will make another 0.5" bump in their screen size.
As far as the talk about the other "big" iPhone goes, I don't think it'll happen.
Apple may have another iPhone of the same size with a different name and a little cheap just like the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. But if it happens, then the other "big" iPhone might be an inch bigger than the smaller one. There have been a lot of rumors about the size of the bigger one also but since the brand that is making this phone is Apple, we're not likely to see any irregular size bumps. No matter how small the bump may be for the tech people who use 100000" smartphones as their daily drivers, it'll be accepted later on by the consumers.
Now, let's talk about the screen material that will be used on the iPhone 6.
This has never been an issue of consideration while ever buying a phone. This time we are seeing all sorts of craziness over the new iPhone 6.
It is being said that the iPhone 6 will have a Sapphire Crystal Glass.
Now if that really happens, the first thing that we'll see is that the rise in price. The Sapphire Crystal is a very expensive thing. Apple has been using that for their home button and for the glass in front if their camera and that has already bumped up the price a little bit. But before we go any further on this, let's understand why Apple is doing this. Sapphire Crystal is a very strong material and it is approx. 95% scratch proof. These properties of Sapphire Crystal will make the screen of the iPhone 6 scratch proof and break proof upon dropping.
The second thing that we'll see with the Sapphire Crystal coming on the iPhone 6 is a drop in sales, Apple knows that to put Sapphire Crystal screen on their phone they will have to increase the price of it, and that price will not be affordable for a lot of people.
Apple knows that it'll be a lot of work to sell that. What Apple will do if it puts the Sapphire Crystal screen on their next phones is that it'll put the Sapphire Crystal on the smaller iPhone and the bigger iPhone will still have the Corning Gorilla Glass so as to keep the sales equal on both the iPhones.
As far as the pricing goes, the smaller iPhone will have the same price tag as the bigger one this time. It'll be totally up to the user if it wants the size or the premium screen.
The Design. As far as design goes, the tech sites have come up with a very 5th generation iPod-like design on the iPhone 6. But I think it'll be more like the iPhone 5S and it'll not be very curvaceous as they are saying and will have a premium, flat back, just like the 5S. The back will have dual tones that we have been seeing for a while now.
The bezel on the phone will not be there on the left and right sides if we go by other tech sites. But according to me and the normal human mind, there will be a little bit of bezel, although slimmer than the previous time.
The sides of the phone will have the same arrangement of the buttons and ports.
The phone will be slimmer this time and it'll not be curvy on the sides as it is not comfortable to hold that kind of well rounded phone. The Touch ID will be present on both the phones and the home button will be flat again this time, thus marking the end of the concave home button on the iPhone forever, maybe.
On the back, apart from the dual tones, we'll have a different font for the "iPhone" text this time but the Apple logo will remain the same.
The Camera. As far as the camera goes the Aperture will most likely be the same on the iPhone 6 as that on the iPhone 5S because if they lower the Aperture even more then the far out objects in the picture will be smudgy and it'll bring lesser depth of field.
The pixel size too is unlikely to change, although Apple may change it as it improves the picture quality significantly.
The sensor size will definitely grow bigger as they have to increase the low light performance of the camera anyway, even though the iPhone 5S was very good in low light than others, it needs to improve. They'll lower the ISO also as the sensor will be bigger and an even lower ISO would mean more quality and very low noise.
As far as the Megapixel on this phone goes, it may be from 8MP to 12MP.
Coming on to the flash on the device, Apple is likely to keep the dual-tone flash as it is. Although, if there will be any improvements then it is most likely that we'll see the Amber darkening a little bit or the flash-LEDs turning into a little square and we'll see four different colours. Now that, will bring amazing low-light accuracy as well as more natural shots.
In the video department. This time I think the slow mo feature will be improved. The iPhone 6 will record 1080p@120fps and 720p@240fps. So basically at 1080p we'll have Slow Mo and at 720p an even better Slow Mo experience.
Also, I believe this time the Burst rate will be improved to provide even more shots per second.
The front camera will have a lower aperture and a wide lens for the selfie lovers this time.
The Speed. This time we'll see the improved Apple A8 64-bit chipset. It'll have a 1.5Ghz Dual Core processor or maybe a Quad Core processor. If there will be a Quad Core processor, we'll see some very amazing speed improvements on the phone but I do not think that it is going to happen. This time Apple will concentrate more on the camera performance and the App load time. They have already won the battle in boot time with their iPhone 5S and I wonder what they'll do with the boot time this time.
Other than this, the video recording might be improved by directional mics and will have improved audio recording and noise cancellation in video and I hope they implement the same in their phone calls.
iOS 8 also may be released after the launch of the iPhone 6.
